At the request of the people of Krampack, with whom we began working in 2000, we took on – in collaboration with Manfatta and CCRTVi – the production of the website for the third season of the hit Catalan television series "Plats Bruts".
Up until that time, a television program’s website was "just another item" in the overall cost of production, not a full-fledged advertising product.
This sitcom had its own unique language and sets that were readily recognizable to the audience. Taking advantage of this, a website was created in which the user, located within the sets, could play or interact with the characters.
The idea then arose to transfer the "product placement" formula within these virtual scenes. Thanks to this, the earnings of the site exceeded the costs, allowing it to be considered an additional product of the series and not a production cost.
