At least for search engines. Our client (Dogwood) had one goal: to position his brand as the leading gourmet water in the national market. Therefore, the website was an issue that we had to urgently reinforce. The objective was to have the site appear in the top search results for the searches for Vilas del Turbón, but when the project was given to us, only results for the regional health spa were coming up. The main problem that we faced was that site was developed entirely in Flash.
The first step was to make an HTML version of the site, allowing for a better indexing of the content. Then, after defining the keywords that Vilas of the Turbón wished to be identified with, an AdWords campaign was set up. Now, 90% of the time, the site comes up in the first page of results, and for the other 10%, between second and third.
